About Nador International School
Nador International School (NIS) is a new international school in Nador, Morocco. NIS aims to connect high-quality international education with personal development, multilingualism and strong engagement with the local community.
From opening, NIS will offer education within Cambridge Early Years, Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Lower Secondary. In a next development phase, the educational offering will be expanded with Cambridge Upper Secondary and Cambridge Advanced.
As a new school, NIS offers staff the opportunity to contribute actively to the development of its education, school culture and school community.
About the role
As Operations, Facilities & IT Officer, you play an important part in the daily running of Nador International School. It is a broad, hands-on role that combines operations, facilities management, caretaking duties and first-line IT support.
You ensure that the school building and its facilities function well, assist with practical tasks in and around the school, oversee maintenance and safety, and liaise with suppliers and external service providers. You also support staff with practical IT questions and help with purchasing, stock management and the logistical organisation of school activities.
Because NIS is a new school, this role has deliberately been kept broad during the start-up phase. As the school grows, responsibilities may be further specialised and divided across separate roles.
Key responsibilities
As Operations, Facilities & IT Officer, you:
- support the school’s daily operational functioning;
- ensure a tidy, safe and well-functioning school environment;
- carry out practical facilities and caretaking tasks and take on small technical jobs yourself where possible;
- oversee the maintenance of the building, facilities and grounds;
- identify technical or facilities issues and ensure they are resolved;
- coordinate the work of suppliers, contractors and external service providers where needed;
- support and manage IT equipment, networks and audiovisual facilities;
- provide first-line support for practical IT and technical questions;
- assist with purchasing, stock management and the registration of materials and equipment;
- assist with the practical set-up of classrooms, shared areas and other school spaces;
- support the practical and logistical organisation of events and other school activities;
- contribute to developing and improving operational, facilities and IT processes at NIS.

Desirable:

Who we are looking for

What we offer
At NIS, you have the opportunity to help build a new international school from the very beginning and to make an important contribution to the development of its operational and technical organisation.
We offer:
- an international and multilingual working environment in Nador;
