About Nador International School

Nador International School (NIS) is a new international school in Nador, Morocco. NIS aims to connect high-quality international education with personal development, multilingualism and strong engagement with the local community.

From opening, NIS will offer education within Cambridge Early Years, Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Lower Secondary. In a next development phase, the educational offering will be expanded with Cambridge Upper Secondary and Cambridge Advanced.

As a new school, NIS offers staff the opportunity to contribute actively to the development of its education, school culture and school community.

About the role

As a Physical Education teacher, you deliver safe, active and challenging PE lessons across Primary and Secondary. You help students further develop their motor skills, fitness, collaboration and self-confidence.

You adapt activities to students’ age, level and abilities and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment in which every student can take part actively. You also contribute to the development of physical education and sports activities at NIS.

Key responsibilities

As a Physical Education teacher, you:

  • plan and deliver safe, varied and engaging physical education lessons across Primary and Secondary;
  • develop students’ motor skills, fitness, coordination and body awareness;
  • encourage collaboration, sportsmanship, self-confidence and an active lifestyle;
  • adapt activities to students’ age, level and abilities;
  • monitor and assess students’ development and give targeted feedback;
  • contribute to the development of physical education and to sport and movement activities within the school;
  • communicate professionally with students, parents and colleagues and contribute to the school community.

What you bring

Required qualifications

You have:

  • a bachelor’s degree in physical education, sport, movement sciences, education or a comparable relevant field;
  • a teaching qualification or an equivalent recognised qualification appropriate to the role;
  • a good command of English;
  • strong teaching and pedagogical skills;
  • the ability to organise safe and inclusive movement activities for different ages and levels;
  • good communication and collaboration skills;
  • a professional, responsible and student-centred working attitude.

Desirable:

  • experience with physical education in Primary and/or Secondary;
  • experience in an international or multilingual school environment;
  • experience organising sports activities, tournaments or other movement activities;
  • command of French and/or Arabic.
