About Nador International School
Nador International School (NIS) is a new international school in Nador, Morocco. NIS aims to connect high-quality international education with personal development, multilingualism and strong engagement with the local community.
From opening, NIS will offer education within Cambridge Early Years, Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Lower Secondary. In a next development phase, the educational offering will be expanded with Cambridge Upper Secondary and Cambridge Advanced.

About the role
As an Art & Design teacher, you deliver inspiring and hands-on art and design teaching across Primary and Secondary. You encourage students to explore ideas, develop creative skills and experiment with different materials, techniques and visual forms.
You adapt your teaching to students’ age, level and abilities and guide them through the creative process from idea to final piece. You also contribute to the development of the continuous Art & Design learning pathway at NIS.
Key responsibilities
As an Art & Design teacher, you:
- plan and deliver creative, practical and engaging Art & Design lessons across Primary and Secondary;
- introduce students to different materials, techniques and visual forms;
- encourage creativity, imagination, experimentation and independent work;
- guide students in developing, producing and reflecting on their own creative work;
- monitor and assess students’ development and give targeted feedback;
- contribute to the development of the continuous Art & Design learning pathway and work with colleagues on cross-curricular learning activities;
- communicate professionally with students, parents and colleagues and contribute to the school community.
What you bring
Required qualifications
You have:
- a bachelor’s degree in art, design, visual arts, art education, education or a comparable relevant field;
- a teaching qualification or an equivalent recognised qualification appropriate to the role;
- a good command of English;
- strong subject, teaching and pedagogical skills;
- experience with, or knowledge of, different artistic materials, techniques and creative working methods;
- the ability to organise safe and responsible practical teaching for different ages and levels;
- good communication and collaboration skills;
- a professional, responsible and student-centred working attitude.
Desirable:
- experience with Art & Design teaching in Primary and/or Secondary;
- experience in an international or multilingual school environment;
- experience guiding creative projects and/or student portfolios;
- command of French and/or Arabic.
